10 SIGN HEART YOUR HEART IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

Approximately 11% of all deaths in Nigeria was caused by heart diseases and heart failure. There are many factors that can cause a person to develop heart problems, but it all amounts as a result of your poor life style choices. 1. PERSISTENT COUGHING
Coughs that isn’t stopping can be a symptom of cardiovascular diseases. Coughs that are chronic produces a pinkish bloody liquid which is very common with people with heart failure. Now don’t get confused with the what heart failure means, it just means that a person’s heart isn’t pumping blood enough as it should be so the body doesn’t get enough oxygen throughout the tissues which is carried by blood in the body. Note that chronic cough can lead to a much more serious symptom, Dyspnea [or a sudden loss of breath while breathing]


2. PUFF/SWOLLEN LEGS ANKLES AND FEET.
This happens when the heart isn’t pumping enough blood to all parts of the body. This causes fluids from the blood vessels leak to the surround tissues which makes your lower extremities swell up. This is because gravity increases the amount of pressure in the veins of the lower limbs. Such swelling may appear due to some other issues like liver malfunction, pregnancy, hypertension etc.

3. SEXUAL DIFFICULTIES 
Erectile Dysfunctions- inability to keep an erection firm enough for sex, also female sex drive can diminish due to improper blood flow to the genital area caused by unhealthy heart.


4. NAUSEA AND LACK OF APPETITE
A lot of heart disease patients show a lack of appetite and nausea. They experience nausea even if it’s a little bite of food that they had. The reason for that is built up fluid around the liver and intestines which in turn interferes with proper digestion, they are accompanied by upset stomach, or feeling bloated and abdominal pain. 5. HIGH LEVELS OF ANXIETY
Anxiety can be caused by a really stressful life style or different problems or panic attacks and phobias. Several studies have shown that those who suffer from anxiety from a very early age or most of their life are very prone to developing coronary heart disease. Some of the effects anxiety has on your health are an abnormally rapid heart rate called Tachycardia, increased blood pressure which leads to coronary heart disease.
