I watched Arianna unconscious.
No one can ever separate us…. Not even that Bryan of hers.
I have my ways!
I know you’re wondering what really happened.
Actually I found that Bryan and Arianna are going to San Nicholas.
I had to stop them and get back my Arianna.
So when Bryan got down from that bus, he made things easier for me.
I had to take that opportunity to my own advantage.
My men were all over so before exploding the bus, I had to place a napkin on Arianna’s nose and she passed out.
So we kidnapped her and then exploded the bus so that it will look like she’s dead.
Isn’t that brilliant?
That way,,,, Bryan and her family will believe that she’s truly gone and gone for good.
I smiled broadly.
I walked out of the room leaving her to rest.
My head was aching so badly and my legs hurting as well..
I opened my weak eyes as I looked around in surprise.
“Where am I?” I asked no one in particular.
The room was so dark and I couldn’t see anything.
I tried getting up but then I noticed that my hands were all tied up and so was my legs.
“Mother? Bryan??” I called out struggling to free myself but I just couldn’t.
Then the door creaked open and fear gripped me.
Is this a dream or something?
I was supposed to be in San Nicholas with my Bryan right?
What the fvck am I doing here?
Where is this?
Lots of questions kept running through my mind.
And then the lights were turned on.
I gasped in shock as I saw him in front of me grinning wickedly.
“Marvin?” I called out in so much fear.
“How have you been my darling?” Marvin smirked as I flinched in shock.
“No! This has to be a dream…. An awful dream that I need to wake up from” I gulped hard.
“You are not dreaming my love” he replied walking towards me.
“Where is Bryan? Marvin where is he?” I asked.
“Is he even important here?” Marvin scoffed.
“Marvin why do you like hurting me? How did I get here? What’s going on? I was in a bus right? How did I end up here? Where did you take Bryan? He was going to get some soft drinks and cookies for me so what happened?” I kept on asking questions.
“Too many questions usually gets no answers” He laughed.
He’s such a heartless beast.
“Just answer me Marvin!” I screamed.
“Yeah…. He was going to buy you a drink and cookies but then the bus exploded” He grinned.
My eyes widened in shock.
“So what? Where…. Where is he?” I asked.
“He should be mourning his supposed dead ex wife by the name Arianna Bernardo” He grinned again.
“What?” I freaked out.
“Oh come on my darling…. You are not dead yet ok but I just want people to believe that you are actually dead so that way,,,, they will all forget about you and even arrange a funeral for you while you and I live happily” He said.
I gasped in shock.
“No Marvin please you need to call my mother and tell her that am alive….she might die of a heart attack please”I cried struggling to free myself but I couldn’t.
“Shhhh…. You don’t look good while crying so quit it already” He walked around me.
“Marvin please don’t keep this a secret from my mother! She can’t take this” I begged.
“Shut up; you don’t need to worry or think about them cos you will never see them again” He yelled at me.
Cold shivers ran down my spine.
“What do you mean Marvin? Don’t tell me you’re going to hurt them?” I cried out.
“Of course not! You are not going to see them again because…..” He said throwing a paper in front of me.
“What’s this?” I asked since I couldn’t flip through the pages due to my tied up hands.
“A passport Arianna for you and I” he said as I gulped nervously.
“A passport? What for? What are you planning to do Marvin?” I asked with tears in my eyes.
“We are traveling out of the country by tomorrow” He said as I gasped.
“Sir you have a letter” someone said from behind.
He quickly turned around….
The broad chested guy walked in with the envelope he handed straight to Marvin.
Marvin unwrapped it and read the letter.
I could see fear in his eyes and shock as well.
“Damn!” Marvin screamed kicking the table.
I flinched in fear as I held my breath.
Marvin dropped the letter on the ground as he stormed out of the room bolting the door.
I sighted the papper abd struggled to get it.
“What could have pissed him off so badly?” I thought as I struggled to get the paper with my tied legs.
After almost an hour of struggling,,, I finally got the paper.
I opened it and read from it.
“My loving Marvin…. You call it a fling or maybe a night office romance but I just want to let you know that your seed is growing in me,,,,, I am pregnant Marvin! I’ve been calling you to inform you but you have refused to pick my calls…Marvin am carrying your child…. Your’s faithfully… Ava George” I read as I gasped.
Then I saw her phone number written on the envelope.
Smiles escape my lips.
“She can help me escape…..” I thought
Mrs Bernardo’s Pov:
I burst into tears as they held me back.
“No… I refuse to believe that my daughter is dead…she can never be dead” I screamed.
“But it’s true Mrs Bernardo’s…. There is no survivor in the exploded bus” The police said .
Laila and my little son hugged me tightly.
“Please you have to stop crying already Mrs Bernardo’s…. This is not the end of the world” Nadia said as I shook my head.
“No ! This is the end of the world…. I can’t cope without my darling daughter Arianna” I cried bitterly.
They hugged me tightly.
“But where is Bryan?” Grandma Claire asked as we looked around for him.
Actually since we came here…. We haven’t seen him.
One of Marvin’s men walked in with a tray of food.
“Here is your food” he said with a cold voice dropping the tray next to me and turned to leave.
Then I saw the cell phone he was holding and smiled within myself.
“Pssttt….” I called out as the man turned around.
“What?” He rolled his eyes.
“How the heck do you expect me to eat with my hands tied?” I asked with a grumpy voice.
He dropped his phone on the table and untied my hand.
I pretended like I wanted to fall so that his cellphone could fall from the table.
The phone fell but he didn’t notice cos of the noise from the table.
“What’s up with your clumsiness?” He yelled at me as I gulped .
He walked out of the room forgetting his cell phone.
I chuckled in excitement.
Then I picked up the envelope where her phone number was written.
I mean the Ava of a lady.
I picked up the cell phone and dialed the number.
“Hello…” Ava’s tiny voice echoed from the phone’s speaker…….
But where is Bryan?
