Nigerians will always remember and appreciate today as a sorrowful day when the lives of our heroes, their families, friends, husbands, wives, and kids were sacrificed to advance and eradicate corruption in this impoverished nation. In commemoration of the innocent Nigerians who lost their lives, Nigerians, including several Nollywood actors, have therefore publicly expressed their support. One actor was seen waving the priceless national flag, and another was seen brandishing a postcard bearing the protest slogan “END SARS.”

Alexx Ekubo, a well-known Nollywood actor, used some of his precious time to publish a photo of their outing today via his official Instagram account so that his followers and the rest of the world might view it and keep in mind this momentous day.

He added a moving message to this photo when he posted it online, telling the Nigerian government that Nigerians in general would never forget a day like this and including a sorrowful emoji that represented this nation’s flag.

He wrote:

“Dear Nigerian Government, we will NEVER forget this day.

20 – 10 – 20 💔

We will return the favor. The Labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain. I still maintain that Lekki Toll plaza should be renamed Lekki Memorial Way & remain toll-free forever.

We paid in full with our blood. Aluta Continua, Victoria Ascerta. #EnoughIsEnough #SoroSoke #EndSars #ReformNigeria #EndSarsMemorial 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬.”

However, a short while after he published this image and caption on his page, Nigerians reacted in kind in the post’s comments section. The screenshots below demonstrate some of these responses:
