Actress Iyabo Ojo cries out after content creator Dacoster, recreates her her ₦40 million AMVCA dress
Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress and businesswoman, recently vented her displeasure on social media after learning that a Dacoster-created version of her 40 million AMVCA (Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards) garment was available online.
Recalls that earlier this month, celebrities from all walks of life arrived in style at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, for the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2023.
Iyabo Ojo has now revealed the price she paid for the opulent gown. She said she spent $50,000, which is equivalent to around N40 million in Nigerian currency. Toyin Lawani, a well-known celebrity stylist, created the ensemble.
Iyabo Ojo yelled indignantly after reposting the Instagram video of the fan imitating her behavior at the AMVCA.
