AFRIMEK reportedly suspends Actor Papa show for allegedly for assaulting junior colleague, Temidayo Morkinyo
Because of physically attacking Temidayo Morkinyo, a female junior colleague, Nollywood star Shoneye Olamilekan, also known as Papa Show, has been suspended from AFRIMEK.
Temidayo Morkinyo said the actor had physically abused her on a set, according to Kemi Filani, who made the allegation.
Temidayo alleged that the actor had invaded her filming location in Ibadan, Oyo State with some boys to beat her up in a series of posts on her Instagram account.
When she reported Papa Show’s disorderly behavior to her superiors on May 18th, she claims that Papa Show hit her in the face, breaking her lip.
She described the incident, saying that on Wednesday, while she was working on a film set, Papa Show made an obnoxious call to ask her to buy him a drink. She continued by saying that she found his conversation with her to be mocking, yet she still obeyed.
However, she went to inform her superiors, Afeez Abiodun Seriki and Niyi Johnson, about his behavior, and they agreed to summon him to account.
After being reprimanded, the actor unexpectedly invaded her set with a group of people to assault her.
Temidayo Morkinyo stated that her family is requesting justice because she allegedly suffered pain as a result of the assault.
The African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK) have distanced themselves from the actor in response, according to a letter signed by the mayor, Femi Adebayo.
In the letter, Femi Adebayo said that the club’s values and the image they have been known to present are not represented by his behavior.
The association has decided to punish him for his dishonorable behavior and to suspend him immediately while additional inquiries are being made.
Temidayo Morkinyo was also granted financial assistance by the organisation, which also expressed sympathy for her.
