APC Chairman Assaults Ondo Commissioner Over Subsidy Palliatives, Video Goes Viral
Olubunmi Osadahun, the state commissioner for women’s affairs for Ondo, was attacked and hurt at Arigidi Akoko.
Some All Progressive Congress (APC) members reportedly lambasted the commissioner over remedies for removing fuel subsidies.
A man was seen hitting the commissioner with a blue chair in a video that was going around on social media.
Findings revealed that the individual who attacked the commissioner is Awolumate Olumide, the APC’s Akoko Northwest Ward 1 Chairman.
Following the attack, the commissioner was taken urgently to the hospital for treatment.
Jumoke Bakare, a woman claiming to be the commissioner’s daughter, stated that her mother has since been admitted to the hospital as a result of the attack.
