APC leaders urged to support Oshiomhole

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ibrahim Emokpaire, has called on the leadership of the party to ignore the people with prejudices against the Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

He said Comrade Oshiomhole had become a victim of people who are ceaselessly vilifying and maligning him and bent on subverting the APC.

He urged the President to stand up and defend his party chairman who is being disturbed by a small group

Emokpaire is worried that “the good work of Oshiomhole would be destroyed, especially now that our country is going through a very trying moment and the opposition seems poised to undo all the good work of the government.

“Therefore, my advice to those who are bent on sabotaging our party chairman is that we should not join the opposition in annihilating our party and government.

“Oshiomhole worked assiduously to increase the number of APC legislators in two chambers of the National Assembly; alongside ensuring victory for President Muhammadu Buhari during the election. He took over the party affairs and within 8 months he had managed to put all the organs of the party for the presidential and other elections in place.”
