Born on May 7, 1990, Bukunmi Oulwashina is a Nigerian actress, model, musician, screenwriter, and producer. She completed her undergraduate studies at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University after completing her basic and secondary education at her hometown of Okemesi, Ekiti State, where she was born.

Bukunmi Oluwashina Early Life and Education

Bukunmi Oluwasina was born in Oke-Imesi, Ekiti State, in 1994 to a big family. She is the third kid in the family.

At the Peace and Joy Model School and College of Education Staff School in Ikere, Ekiti, Bukunmi Oluwasina finished her elementary studies.

In the state of Ekiti, in the town of Ikere, she pursued her secondary education at African Church Comprehensive High School and College of Education Demonstration Secondary School.

After completing her secondary education, she enrolled at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, where she graduated with a degree in theater arts.

Bukunmi started writing screenplays when she was a secondary school student, but it wasn’t until she created the well-received Yoruba film “Ayomi” in September 2015 that she first came to public recognition.

Due to the film’s widespread acclaim, Pepsi and Vivas chose to collaborate with the actress. The film held the distinction of being the only native film there for its initial screening at Viva Cinema.

In September 2020, she married Ebun, her longtime spouse of 11 years, in a low-key wedding.
