Davido reveals why he never knew his father was a billionaire

Due to his father’s humility, renowned Nigerian Afrobeats musician David Adeleke aka Davido claims he was unaware of his father’s fortune.

The celebrated artist revealed that he didn’t realize his father was a billionaire or what he did for a career when he was a child.

Speaking in an interview, Davido also disclosed that he first realized his family was wealthy when he was 13 years old.

The FEM singer claims that because his father led a very ordinary and modest existence, it was challenging for him to understand their true value in society.

He explained that the multi-billionaire businessman had just one driver and drove a brand-new silver Honda Accord.

He claimed that up until they moved out of their house and into a new one, his parents continued to lead a simple life.

He started asking questions about his father’s job when he first noticed the new structure that served as their new house and discovered that he was a businessman.

The DMW boss claims that his father has maintained his modesty and humility with his spending and business practices even today.
