EFCC reportedly arrests suspected vote buyer in ekiti state

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) apprehended accused vote purchasers in Ekiti today, June 18, during the gubernatorial election.

An elderly woman and three young males were among the accused apprehended with money reportedly used to entice voters.

According to Channels TV, other people were also arrested at a private apartment carrying a book holding voter information for a specific election district.

The accused were reportedly paraded at the Nigeria Police Force’s Oke Ori Omi Area Police Division.
