PART 12
I was done at the hospital, I told my Secretary Angelina to stay back at the company till I was back.
The doctor said I needed enough rest because my body is weak, and that is true. I haven’t had a very nice rest since I got back home from the last trip.
I walked to the car and suddenly my phone rang, I drew it out from my pocket and didn’t bother checking who it was before picking it up.
“Hey.” I heard her voice and my heart skipped.
“Becca?” I called and I heard her chuckle…
“Tell me you missed me.” She stated and I hopped into the car and shut the door.
“Why are you calling me Becca?” I asked and I heard her sigh.
“Don’t tell me you have forgotten what happened between us so soon Victor.” She uttered and I shut my eyes hitting my head with my hand.
“Becca why don’t you understand, that was nothing. We got along with the moment, nothing more. I have a wife.” I said and she laughed.
“You should have thought of her before you f**ked me so hard in the hotel room.” She replied and I felt like killing her at that moment.
“Becca, we promised that it was nothing, just sex. Why are you making it a big deal?” I asked.
“You are the one making it a big deal okay? I miss you and I want to see you.” She said and I scoffed.
“So? I should fly down to Tokyo to see you? Because you miss me?” I asked sarcastically.
“No, I made it a lot easier for you.” She said and while still trying to understand what she was saying, the door opened and she hopped into my car.
“Becca what the f**k!” I yelled in shock.
“Hey, handsome.” She said kissing my lips and I glared at her in disbelief.
“How did you find me? Why are you here? Why did you leave Tokyo?” I bombarded her with questions and she sighed looking at me.
“I know you are shocked and at the same time, you want answers to my questions. Here, this is my address, come find me, and I will tell you everything and do everything you want.” She said in a whisper.
“I can’t Becca, I would be with my wife,” I said and she laughed.
“I know you would, your wife doesn’t know the real you. See you later.” She muttered and walked out of the car.
I looked at the paper she had given me and dropped it, placing my head on my steering.
“What have I gotten myself into? Becca is here to cause havoc!”

I took a very deep breath in the elevator, I wasn’t sure I was ready to face Timi at the moment, but I had no choice, I had to see him.
“Your heads up high Sharon, you are a married woman who made a mistake and would never go back to that mistake.
I got to the 13th floor, and the elevator’s door gave way. I walked out of the elevator, and I could sight Timi’s office at my right-hand side.
I walked to his office with my head up high and met his secretary next to his door.
“Hi, good day.” I greeted with a grin and she looked at me smiling widely too.
“Hi, good day. You must be Mrs. Sharon.” She said and I nodded smiling.
“Mister Timi has been waiting for your arrival, please follow me.” She added and I did exactly as I was told.
I followed behind her, and we both walked into his office. His office was so big, with so many beautiful paintings of women, children, family, livestock, society, and many more.
“You can go, Stephanie, thank you,” Timi said without looking back. He was busy on another painting.
He had the paints around and had an apron around his body. Stephanie walked out and left me there standing and just staring at the Timi.
“You want to have a seat? Or join me in painting?” He asked looking at me and I swallowed hard.
“I don’t know what I should be doing, it’s my first time here,” I replied and he nodded facing the painting again. He dipped his brush in the white paint and splashed it over the painting aggressively making me flinch.
“I didn’t mean to scare you, sometimes I act like that when painting. Sit.” He ordered and I nodded grabbing a chair and sitting.
“So…” He uttered removing his apron and hanging it on an old dried painting. He walked to his chair and sat.
“Welcome. I hope it wasn’t hard getting to find this place.” He said and I shook my head.
“Your company is big, everyone knows this place, Mister Timi,” I responded and I chuckled.
“Oh right, that is true, I almost forgot. So tell me, what do you think about these paintings?” He asked standing up again.
“They are cool,” I replied almost immediately and he looked at me and shook his head.
“As a painter, you see beyond what ordinary people see Sharon, you see the soul of the painting.” He said with seriousness and I nodded following.
At least, he wasn’t talking about our time together.
“I understand, but it’s been a very long I painted, I think I must have lost interest in it,” I said and he nodded gradually.
“I understand, I get you. But don’t worry, it’s a matter of time. You would be back on track okay?” He asked and I nodded smiling faintly.
He sat down and I stood up to take a closer look at the paintings.
“What is this?” I asked looking at a painting that had white and black paints splashed all over, and they touched all edges of the frame. It had the form of a spiral, I couldn’t phantom what exactly it was.
“I made that drawing days ago, a day after we made love in your living room, on your dining table.” He said and I swallowed hard.
“We didn’t make love, we made a mistake. A mistake that would never happen again.” I said and he nodded.
“I know, and I regret it happened because you are in my head. I never wanted any lady to in there.” He said pointing to his head and I sighed staring at him.
“I believe Mr. Greg told you how the partnership would be done.” He said and I nodded taking my seat again.
“Why me? Why where I work?” I asked and he started going through the files on his table.
“I thought you want this issue behind us, let’s talk business. Nothing more.” He said and I bobbed.
“Good,” I said and he passed a document to me.
“Here, sign this. I must have a signed copy too.” He said handing a biro to me also.
“I need to discuss something with you. Greg said you are my new boss or something like that. That I would have to go to the company in the morning and then come here after lunch.” I stated and he nodded.
“That is true.” He added.
“I think that would be so stressful for me, that is two journeys in one day. I thought you could help me with that. I don’t want to talk to Greg about it, he would keep asking questions and insisting.” I said.
“So what do you want?” He asked and I sighed.
“I want to focus on just one job, one company. Either Greg’s or yours. I need my head in a place.” I said and he smiled.
“That is no issue Sharon, I would talk to him about it. Just so you know, I can’t lose you to him, so I would convince him you stayed here.” He said and I nodded reluctantly.
“Just so you know, Greg is still my boss,” I muttered and he chuckled.
“I ain’t disputing that fact Sharon.” He said in a low tone looking at me. I gulped hard looking away from his face.
“So where do I start?” I asked and he picked up his telephone and placed a call.
“Stephanie, show Sharon around. Tell her what she needs to know about this place.” He said on phone and hung up.
“I would go outside now,” I said standing up and I walked to the door. I felt his eyes on me as I turned to leave.
