PART 4

Sharon waited at the restaurant waiting for Valeria to show up and lash out at her. She sat close to the transparent wall sipping her coffee.

“Hey girl!” Valeria shouted from behind startling Sharon.

“Valeria, can you stop being so childish for once? I am not in the mood for this at all.” Sharon responded and Valeria sat in front of her.

“You shouldn’t.” She replied waving at the waiter.

“What should I do Valeria? I swear I don’t know what came over me, I was craving for his touch.” Sharon illustrated in a low tone so people around wouldn’t hear her.

Valeria sighed looking at Sharon with that face. That face she gives when she wanted to be damn serious and sometimes, Sharon does scare of Iscariot because anything she says with that look would hurt her.

Of course, the truth is always painful.

“You craved the touch of a stranger, I need you to be honest with yourself and me. Why?” Valeria asked and Sharon bent her head tiredly.

“Because, because well. Because Victor doesn’t give me that pleasure I want in bed.” Sharon said and Valeria’s eyes widened.

“How long has this been up with you two?” She further asked.

“For years now, I didn’t want to say anything to you because I thought I would be able to deal with it. I am so sorry Valeria.” She apologized and Valeria nodded.

The waiter brought a cup of coffee for Valeria too and walked away before Valeria spoke up.

“You should know better Sharon. If you told me this earlier, you wouldn’t be in this problem now. But it’s not too late to fix things. What do you plan on doing?” Valeria asked sipping her coffee.

“I don’t know Valeria. I don’t know what to do because I am so confused right now. Do you think I should tell Victor?” She asked and Valeria spilled her coffee on her shirt.

“Sh*t!” She exclaimed cleaning off the coffee with her handkerchief.

“Are you alright?” Sharon asked, the people in the restaurant turned to look at them.

“I am fine thank you,” Valeria said smiling falsely at the people that stared at her.

“You would do no such thing, Sharon! Do you want to ruin your marriage? Victor is a guy you wouldn’t want to lose Sharon.” She clarified and Sharon nodded.

“I know, but what do I do then?” She begged.

“You keep your mouth shut and make sure this doesn’t happen again. It was a mistake and you regret it, so it wouldn’t happen again.” Valeria stated and Sharon nodded sluggishly.

“But I like it.” She replied and Valeria shot her a deadly look.

“Are you listening to yourself right now?” She asked and Sharon sighed.

“I’m sorry okay? I just don’t want to lie to you too even if I am going to lie to victor for the rest of my life.” She asserted and Valeria nodded.

“You wouldn’t be lying to him, you won’t be telling him no truth or lie because there is nothing to tell. Understood?” Valeria inquired and Sharon nodded.

“Got it.” She said sipping her coffee.

“So tell me, who is this mysterious guy that knocked you off the hook? How did you two meet?” She asked and Sharon smiled widely.

“We met on my way home when the rain started. I was too stupid to forget to pick up my umbrella from the house in the morning, so I was with no umbrella when the rain started. I was about looking for a place to hide with this tall guy stopped next to me holding up an umbrella above my head.” Sharon narrated and Valeria smiled so widely.

“Just like in the movies,” Valeria added and she nodded.

“Exactly. He helped me home but unfortunately, we were still beaten by the rain. I wasn’t able to see his face because it was dark. So when we got to the house, I finally saw his face and saw how handsome he looked.”

“I couldn’t watch him leave in the rain after he helped me, so I offered to help him too by letting him wait at the house,” Sharon started and paused.

“And that was when things started happening between your legs?” Valeria asked.

“Not yet. It was when he got rid of his wet shirt. Holy f**k, he looked so f**king hot and immediately I wanted him.” Sharon uttered.

“That’s enough. Your cheeks turned pink, you are beginning to picture him on your bed again.” Valeria said and Sharon swallowed hard.

“Don’t worry, It won’t happen again,” Sharon muttered.

“You should promise yourself, baby girl,” Valeria said looking at her wristwatch and her eyes widened.

“Lunchtime is over Sharon. We need to get back to work.” Valeria said and they both stood up hurriedly.

“When would I see you again?” Sharon asked putting on her jacket and gulping down the rest of the coffee.

“Saturday.” She said and she kissed her cheeks.

“Take care.” They greeted each other and they both walked out of the restaurant and parted ways in haste.

Sharon got to her working place as soon as possible and when she walked into the company, the receptionist called her.

“The boss wants to see you.” She said and Sharon narrowed her eyes nodding her head.
