Mohamed Salah, a midfielder for Liverpool, is expected to move to another Premier League team if his contract with the club is not renewed.

Next season, the Egyptian King, as he is affectionately known among Liverpool supporters, will be in the final year of his contract. Salah, according to the Daily Mail, wants to stay in the Premier League if he can’t negotiate a new contract with Liverpool.

Salah makes £200,000 per week and is said to want the club to give him £400,000 per week, making him the world’s sixth-highest paid player. He has told Liverpool fans, though, that he will play for the club next season.

Since joining Liverpool from AS Roma, the 29-year-old has won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup, the FA Cup, and the Carabao Cup.

Following his performance in the Premier League, he earned three accolades this season: the highest goal scorer award, the playmaker of the season award, and the Fan Player of the Year award.
