Manchester United etched their mark in history, something they never imagined when the Premier League season began.
After a 4-0 hammering at Brighton and Hove Albion, the Red Devils have registered the lowest number of points in franchise history. Manchester United can only complete the season with 61 points after a disappointing performance in their 37th Premier League match.
Manchester United finished the 2013/14 Premier League season with 64 points. In the 2015/16, 2018/19, and 2019/20 seasons, they scored 66 points.
Manchester United supporters will remember the season for its poor results. In both legs, they lost 4-0 and 5-0 against Liverpool, 4-1 to Watford and Manchester City, and 4-2 to Leicester City.
They have also conceded the most goals in the club’s history, with 56 Premier League goals conceded this season.
