St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo LGA, Ondo state, had a dark Sunday.
Unidentified gunmen are claimed to have blasted the church before firing multiple bullets at the gathering.
During the attack that occurred during Sunday’s church, many people are said to have died, while others were injured.
On Sunday, June 1, suspected terrorists reportedly stormed St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, the capital of Ondo state’s Owo local government area.
Many people have killed and several others have been injured as a result of the church explosion, according to a Channels TV report.
The church is located adjacent to the Olowo of Owo’s palace.
According to the Nigerian Tribune, at least 50 bodies have been removed from the church, with many more being treated at the Federal Medical Center in Owo.
