Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has spoken out about why women need cosmetic surgery to boost their physical appearance.
While it’s a prevalent misperception that women have cosmetic surgery to enhance their feminine appearance in order to attract men, the curvy actress insists that this is not the case.
Nkechi Blessing said in an Instagram story that most women get plastic surgery to feel better about themselves, not to entice or attract men.
She wrote ;
Any man that does not like the shape of your body does not deserve you. Truth is most of this ladies doing surgery are not even doing it because of a man. Some just wants to up their game, look nice in bikinis or body con, and some just to feel good about themselves.. But listen there are other ways to cut down excess fat… Working out regularly helped a lot of people I know!
Meanwhile, Yvonne Nelson, a Ghanaian actress, has urged women to appreciate their bodies because no one is born or created flawless.
On Friday, June 3, the 36-year-old offered this advise in a message on her verified Twitter account, weighing in on the internet controversy around cosmetic surgery triggered by the death of a Nigerian woman who died after botched plastic surgery.
Surgery will not keep a man, according to Yvonne Nelson, instead women should love themselves and work on their mental health.
