Citation By Kunle Afolayan – Official Teaser 2020 (Nollywood Movie)
The aim of the movie is to be able to speak up against sexual harassment. A popular Nigerian filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, screened his latest movie, ‘Citation’, at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos, over the weekend. The movie was privately screened at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in August. The Lagos screening began with the opening speech by Mr Afolayan who welcomed everyone and appreciated the effort of the cast, crew, and partners involved in Citation.
Citation is not just a movie, but a message focused on educating students on ways they can tackle sexual-based crimes in the universities. The film narrates the ordeals faced by a female postgraduate student, Moremi Oluwa (Temi Otedola) who is forced to find a way to deal with an awkward situation of sexual harassment from a popular male lecturer, Prof. Lucien Nd’yara (Jimmy-Jean Louis).
