A video of Nigerian comedian and skit-maker, Debo Adedayo, best known by his stage name Mr Macaroni, reenacting a classic scene from one of his skits has been posted on social media.
Residents of Lekki gathered on Wednesday, March 30, to discuss the reopening of the tollgate and the resumption of tolling at the Ikoyi bridge, which is scheduled to take place on April 1.
Following the meeting, Mr. Macaroni decided to have a little fun with some of the locals in the neighborhood. He handed his phone to a woman and asked her to enter her bank account number, just as he does in his comedic sketches all the time.
She entered her bank account information and returned the phone, but he returned it to her and told her she could write down any amount she wanted so he could send it.
The lady entered one million Naira, and as soon as the comedy star saw it, he screamed in surprise and inquired as to how much he was worth.
Macaroni, on the other hand, did not approve the one-million-dollar transfer and instead sent her N200,000.
“Haaaa!” he said as he shared the video. 1 Million Naira? What do you mean? “Can you tell me how much money I have in my bank account?”
Take a look at the video below:
