Nollywood Stars Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi Open Up About Their Emotional Pregnancy Journey
Actress Blessing Obasi of Nollywood and her husband Stan Nze have described the moment they learned they were expecting a child.
The fact that the couple is expecting their first child is no longer news. On their YouTube channel, the soon-to-be parents provided their subscribers and fans a behind-the-scenes look at their prenatal journey.
The pair described their unique reactions to learning about the pregnancy in the video. Blessing stated that she learned of her pregnancy two months in advance of her birthday, which falls on May 6, 2023.
She claimed that when filling in for her husband at one of their friends’ showroom parties, she confided in the friend that she was experiencing pain and a headache. She had been asked by a friend to take a pregnancy test, but she refused since she didn’t want her hopes shattered.
She eventually gave in to her demands and discovered she was pregnant after taking a pregnancy test. The soon-to-be mother revealed that she spent hours crying tears of joy since she had been praying for the fruit of the womb.
Her spouse learned of the pregnancy on her birthday when he was out of the country. He described receiving a box of baby gifts from his wife and their close friends, which he thought was the strangest gift he had ever received.
Stan, who was perplexed by what was happening, didn’t realize that Blessing was pregnant until she told him.

Stan Nze announced his wife and he were expecting their first child a few hours ago.
Since it is also their second wedding anniversary, the day has special significance for them at their home.
In the sweet video that accompanied the announcement, the actor’s wife was seen affectionately petting her growing baby. During the video shoot, they were also photographed donning traditional clothing.
On their anniversary in September of the previous year, Blessing Nze and Stan Nze caused controversy when it was suggested that things weren’t going well between them.
In the video that was posted online, Stan Nze appeared furious and upset, which worried the couple’s supporters who had surprised them with gifts for their anniversary.
In discussing their anniversary, Stan revealed that it had not been a happy one for them, that he and his wife had clashed, and that neither had been willing to make amends.
