Olamide Adedeji, a well-known Nigerian rapper, recently admitted that he was on the verge of signing Omah Lay, an Afropop singer, in 2020.
The founder of YBNL admitted he offered to sign Omah Lay to his record label but the “Understand” hit maker declined during an interview with Adesope Olajide on the Afrobeats Podcast.
The Omah Lay song “Bad Influence” was sent to him, according to the Badoo crooner.
He was so moved by the song that he contacted Omah and expressed interest in signing him to a record label, but Omah told him that he already had a deal with another label.
