Actress Wumi Toriola of Nollywood has spoken out against godfatherism in the entertainment business.

After Mohbad passed away, she made note of the numerous fatal errors that can result in the demise of everyone who had a godfather or godmother.

She pointed out how such people turn away people who want to aid their godsons or goddaughters, cancel their opportunities, incite further animosity toward them, and do a lot more.

This, Wumi continued, is the reason why she and other people have agreed to serve as their godparents.
