President Buhari Appoints Former Super Eagles Player Daniel Amokachi as Ambassador

Daniel Amokachi has been appointed by the President of Federal republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari.


Daniel Amokachi know as ‘Da Bull’ in his playing days has never hidden his admiration for the administration of president Buhari since assuming office in 2015.

Amokachi is a house hold name in the Nigerian football circle hence his appointment by the president may not be surprising to many observers and political followers.

Amokachi was appointed as Nigeria’s football ambassador, though the appointment seem more of ceremonial role but it is a welcome development.

Amokachi who is well experienced in football both as a player and assistant coach will work with the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to scout for young talents, and development of such to aid our sports and footballing culture.
