Presidential Candidate Peter Obi makes huge promise for Nigeria youth in his campaign rally in ekiti state
Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) nominee for president, has pledged that if elected in 2023, young Nigerians will no longer be forced to migrate abroad in search of better opportunities.
On January 5, 2022, the former governor of Anambra State made the commitment while speaking at the party’s presidential campaign rally in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital of Ekiti.
Obi promised to put measures into place that would safeguard young people’s futures and pay attention to unemployment so that graduates would have access to well-paying jobs.
If elected in the upcoming presidential election, Obi promised to eradicate poverty, corruption, and insecurity. He also added that his administration would bring good governance to Nigerians’ doorsteps.
He said: “My administration will move this country from consumption to production and bring the dividends of good governance to the doorsteps of our people. There will surely be a better tomorrow for all of us.
“I will not only stop corruption; I will eradicate poverty in every state of the federation because our youths will be properly taken care of and will no longer be travelling out of the country for greener pastures.
“Ekiti kete, please vote for Labour Party in the forthcoming presidential election.”
The LP National Chairman, Julius Abure, thanked party supporters in the state for attending the event and asked them to work to ensure the party’s success in the upcoming general elections in his remarks.
Abuse emphasized the traits of the party’s presidential hopeful as well, calling him dependable, loyal, dedicated, and willing to fight for the existence of all Nigerians.
