The mother can be seen striking her newborn infant in the viral video without showing any mercy.
The mother, who was sitting on the bed next to the child, abruptly raised the newborn’s hand and, consequently, began spanking it several times. The infant then began to sob.
However, the video has started to receive a variety of responses online. While some accuse the mother of being evil for hitting a newborn child in such a way, others assert that she is attempting to gauge the infant’s receptivity to the environment and whether or not the baby can speak.
