Senator Abdulahi Adamu, the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that the party is dissatisfied with its national leader Bola Tinubu’s recent remarks against President Muhammadu Buhari.

Adamu made his remarks to the press on Saturday in Abuja, ahead of the party’s national convention on Tuesday, saying that his outburst was an insult to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Tinubu’s apology, according to the APC chairman, was insufficient, and the party may discipline him.

He also stated that all APC presidential candidates will meet with Muhammadu Buhari on June 4th.

In a speech to delegates in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Tinubu said Buhari would not have won president in 2015 if it weren’t for him.

If not for me that stood behind Buhari, he wouldn’t have become the president. He tried the first time, he failed, the second time, he failed, the third the, he failed, he even wept on national television and vowed never to contest again.

But, I went to meet him in Kaduna and told him he will run again, I will stand by you and you will win, but you must not joke with Yorubas and he agreed.
