After his car was recently wrecked by traffic robbers while he was detained in Lagos gridlock, Soso Soberekon, a Nigerian music executive, has sworn war on the crooks.
Soso revealed that his fancy Range Rover’s front windows and other pieces were broken by criminals in Lagos traffic by releasing a video of the incident.
He then declared war on any suspicious person he encounters in traffic, whether beggars or pedestrians, arguing that he must defend himself because the government will not protect him.
The music executive wrote to the state administration, pleading with them to address the daily crime that road users confront.
